The project partners create new digital training content and methods to develop digital competence of VET staff.
Objectives:
Participating organisations will gain new digital and pedagogical methods to benefit the students and enhance the quality of online teaching and learning. The teachers will get new tools, ideas and practices. The students can develop their digital skills and lifelong learning.
Activities:
There will be five transnational project meetings to work on the project results and to disseminate the results. Each country will also arrange a multiplier event to pilot the results.
Project Results:
Project Result 1: Survey about the digital skills and the future needs concerning the skills of the VET staff in each country
Project Result 2: Syllabus (a framework of competencies) for teachers who need to improve their digital skills. Later we create a model of open badges for digital skills and one exemplary badge.
Project Result 3: Training module to develop and enhance the digital skills of VET staff. The module will combine online meetings and independent learning.
Project Result 4: Piloting the training module in each country.
Project Result 5: A toolkit with diverse tutorials.
The expected impact and long-term benefits:
The participating organisations have created and shared good practices, methods and tools. There is functional online material to develop the skills of VET staff. The quality of online teaching has enhanced. The students’ individual learning paths have advanced.
